Do I need a card to start?+

No. New accounts can try all features for 14 days without a card. Stripe Checkout is only used when you choose a paid plan.

What happens after the trial period finishes?+

If you do not upgrade, the account moves to Free. Existing data stays in place, but resources above the Free allowance are disabled until you upgrade or reduce usage.

What happens if I upgrade during the trial?+

Choosing Solo Pro or Team starts the paid Stripe subscription immediately. You can change plans later from Billing.

Are paid secrets really unlimited?+

Paid plans do not use per-secret billing. ScopeHold keeps internal fair-use guardrails to protect service quality.

Can I change plans later?+

Yes. Plan changes are managed through Stripe so invoices, payment methods, receipts, and taxes stay in one place.
